What's New in Build 345

• Don't trickle sync when schedule is set to manual.
• Don't allow pairing multiple iCals to a single gCal when there is only one gCal.
• A problem with the pulled record sorting algorithm was causing an "inconsistent data" alert.
• Added a default to disable trickle syncing.

Build 344 Now Available

What's New in Build 344:

• The pref pane detects the the Logitech Control Center hack and displays an alert to the user.
• Trickle syncing! Changes in iCal and Address Book are synced automatically as they're made.

Build 342 Available - Please Upgrade ASAP

The last build introduced a problem that prevented some users from completing a sync. The fix for that problem along with several other improvements is included in Spanning Sync v2.0b Build 342, which is now available for download. All beta users are encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible.

• Fixes some causes of the "you referenced a relationship without pushing it" error
• Fixes the "inconsistent data" alert that Apple Sync Services would display in some cases
• Prevents all contacts from being deleted from Google when syncing with contact syncing turned off and choosing to replace contact data

• Changed behavior on refresh syncs where the user didn't explicitly select "Replace Data on Google"

• Company contacts from Google weren't handled correctly, eventuallly resutling in duplicates
• Changed first time calendar sync alert logic
• Found and fixed a possible cause of duplicating calendar events
• The client now refresh syncs when a supported sync property changes
• Fixed two possible causes of "you referenced without pushing" errors which would abort the sync
• When a calendar's sync pairings are altered in the UI, its events are correctly sent to the server

Server-Side Fix for Group Info Getting Clobbered

Lest you think all of our bug fixes go into client releases, we just pushed an update to the live servers that fixes a bug that was causing group membership information to get removed when contact updates were sunc from Address Book to Google. That is all. Enjoy your Friday night. :-)
